Build a Pixie Garden!
Ireland is famous for their legends of pixies, leprechauns, and “little folk”. Make them happy with a beautiful home in the garden, and you may be able to find their pot of gold! Show kindness to them always, and you will be rewarded! But watch out, they are tricky! 😉
Children will love the doll like miniatures and the feeling of adventure that a little “fairy garden” brings. It is a fun and a creative project, which yields a darling touch to any backyard.
Choose, purchase, or make small, birdhouse like structures of wood, sticks, fabric, and/or moss. Hang and place these small homes in convenient little spaces around your yard or flower beds. Add small patio furniture such as swings, tables and chairs, and lanterns. Then add novelty miniature accessories to make it truly a whimsical delight to the eyes and imagination.
Find doll house pieces, or purchase from your local craft store novelty Ideology packets or collect miniature sets. Or go for the all out home made fun of creating your own pieces from fabric, wood, moss, twigs, plaster of Paris, 3d printing etc. Let your imagination run wild!
